BATUCADA

The experience

  1. We found the rhythm.

    We make a brief introduction to the activity, we distribute the instruments and discover the bases to start playing together.

  2. All hands.

    We start with simple exercises to find the rhythm and coordinate. Gradually, we incorporate new patterns and increase the difficulty.

  3. Bring the rhythms together

    We combine the different rhythms until every part fits together and begin building a piece as a team.

  4. The final batucada

    We perform the complete piece together and add choreography to finish with a shared performance.
